About Us

Mochi is a certified Pastry sous and prolific writer with a passion for all things art, from macaroons to manga. When the patisserie she worked at closed in 2020, the lockdowns gave her far more time to develop her writing style and start jotting down the smorgasbord of stories baking in her brain. Mochi loves creating character-driven narratives that perfectly balance wit and heartbreak, especially fairytale retellings, clean romance, horror, and LGBTQ+ stories to represent her community and other ace individuals.

When she isn’t reading, writing, or creating culinary masterpieces, she can be found playing Otome games, trying new teas and cheeses, or taking care of her two bunnies and pet spider. She writes in honor of her late mother, who she hopes to honor through her stories.

Yoru is a self-taught comic artist who has been honing her craft since childhood and freelancing full-time for five years. She has always wanted to create and publish full-length mangas and spent years perfecting her line art, anatomy, and lighting skills, including as a former erotica and hentai artist.

She devotes every day to drawing, and she drinks coffee nearly/twice as often. On average, she can produce 15-20 pages of content per month, although her record is as high as 40 pages! She relishes the quiet life with her bunny and cat, spending her spare time playing Gacha games and watching anime.

Yoru and Mochi met online. Their personalities meshed perfectly, allowing them to build a close-knit friendship quickly despite living in metropolises halfway across the world. They bonded through their shared passion for art and anime—including their favorite studio, Kyoto Animation—and both being around the same age and bilingual.

Yoru and Mochi’s fields and specialties seamlessly complement each other, allowing them to produce multiple fully fledged projects per year together.
